History
We've come a long way since the days of manually inputting player
picks. With previous versions of Turbo Tourney we integrated automated
pick entry via e-mail, pick disk or over a local network.
Now, the Internet is your pool playground! You can easily capture
player picks right on your web site (or ours!) and automatically
load them directly into your pool without having to enter any data.
Overview
Our "Deploy via Web Wizard" will walk you through
each step to generate the necessary web components needed to capture
player picks via the Internet. Choose from Simple, Basic or Advanced
web deployment based on your knowledge of and access to web services.
An entry page will be generated that you can post to your web
site for your players to enter their picks or you can use a common
entry page on the Turbo Tourney web site. These picks can then either
be stored in a pick file on the web server or individually e-mailed
to you. Either format can then be directly loaded into Turbo Tourney
using the new "Load Web Picks" feature.

Which Method Is Right For You?
Use the following chart to determine which method best fits
your pool needs:
| Deploy Method |
Intended
Audience |
| Simple |
Recommended for people with no web page experience.
Your players will enter their picks using your own entry form that is
posted to the Turbo Tourney web site. The picks can then be automatically
imported into your pool. |
| Basic |
Recommended for the casual internet user with
a home page. Turbo Tourney will generate a custom entry form
based on your pool settings. Your players will enter their picks
using this form and the picks can be automatically imported
into your pool. |
| Advanced |
Recommended for web site administrators. Turbo
Tourney will generate a custom entry form and custom script
file (Perl or ASP) to capture player picks completely on your
own web server. Picks are stored in a data file or in a database on the web
server and can be mass loaded into Turbo Tourney. |
