Overview
The Deploy via Web (Basic) provides an easy method to capture player
picks online via the Internet for people with only casual experience
in using web pages.
The Basic method of web deployment takes advantage of a service
provided by TurboTourney.com that allows your players to enter their
picks on your web site but are then processed on our web site. Click

Here is how it works:
Step 1.
After entering your tournament options (scoring, tie breakers, etc.)
and tournament pairings you are ready to deploy.
Step 2.
When you select Deploy via Web you will be taken to the Deploy via
Web Wizard. This wizard will take you step by step through creating
the necessary web components. Choose Basic deployment.
Step 3.
You will be asked to provide information about how your entries
should be handled.
Step 4.
The Deploy via Web Wizard will then generate an HTML page called
“tournamententry.html” and store it locally on your PC
in the folder you specify. This is the page that your players will
use to enter their picks.
Step 5.
You then need to upload this HTML page to your web site or home
page area for your players to access. Your Internet Service Provider
(ISP) can provide assistance on how to do this if you need help.
You can also choose the Deploy via Email option and email this page
to your players.
Step 6.
Give your players the URL to this page on your web site. For example,
http://www.your-site.com/tournamententry.html where www.your-site.com
is the name of your web site.
Step 7.
Your players will then go to this web page where the entry sheet
is displayed using their browser. Each player will navigate through
the page entering their player information and making their game
selections.
Step 8.
When they are done, they will select the “Submit Picks”
button at the bottom of the page. This will refresh the page with
their final selections and will either (based on your settings)
send you an e-mail message with their pick data or will accumulate
the picks until you are ready to retrieve them. Your players will
also get a copy of their picks via e-mail if you selected this option.
Step 9.
If you selected to receive entries via email, when you receive the
e-mail message you just need to select Remote…Load Web Picks
(From an E-mail) and then copy the pick data from the message to
the Windows clipboard. This will start the “Load Web Picks”
process. If you selected to receive entries via a file, simply select
Remote…Load Web Picks (From TurboTourney.com) to retrieve your
entries. This will start the “Load Web Picks” process
Step 10.
Begin by selecting “Analyze Header” to verify the file
information is correct. If it is ok you can then select “Start
Import” to load the picks into your pool and you’re done.
Step 11.
When the tournament begins you will need to remove the entry page
so that players cannot continue to submit picks after the tournament
has started.
